Stainless threaded tee
Tee is a type of pipeline fittings designed to separate or merge work flows. It is also used to supply gas, steam or other carrier to the main stream. It is used in almost all industrial and domestic pipelines. Tees are diverse in design, but the most common are equal-bore ones, in which all three nozzles have the same diameter and the tap angle is 90 degrees. Equal-bore tees do not change the pressure of the working medium, unlike transitional ones, in which the diameters of the main and additional branches differ. Tees must withstand mechanical and thermal loads and be resistant to aggressive environmental influences. These qualities are provided by the material of manufacture - stainless steel. Stainless steel tee is a necessary component of piping strapping at enterprises of the chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, food industry, housing and communal services.

AISI 316 tees are able to withstand more aggressive environments (acids, alkalis), and chemical inactivity makes it possible to use them in pharmaceuticals.
