Stainless steel flanged valves

Check valves are a type of shut-off valves for pipelines. They are used to prevent the change of the flow direction of the medium in case of accidents, pressure drop, shock loads. One of the simplest and most effective devices of this class is a stainless steel check valve of the "flapper" type. It is a flat round plate with a hole in the center, to the edge of which a shutter in the form of a disk is attached. When the working medium moves in the right direction, the disk under pressure takes the "open" position and passes the flow. When the pressure drops, the disk begins to close under its own weight and automatically closes at the moment of the counterflow. The installation of the flanged valve is carried out by clamping it between the flanges connecting the pipeline sections.

Stainless steel flanged check valve «flapper» has the following advantages:
