DIN 125 stainless washer
DIN 125 stainless washer is one of the most common types of fasteners. It is used complete with a nut and bolt (stud, screw). It is a flat ring, the inner diameter of which corresponds to the parameters of the fastener thread. The German standard DIN 125 (the Russian equivalent of GOST 11371-78) provides for the marking of washers in accordance with the thread diameter. The DIN 125 steel washer is used for:
- load redistribution, thereby increasing the strength of the joint;
- protection of surfaces of parts from damage and deformation;
- to prevent loosening of the threaded connection.
Flat washers are used everywhere in the assembly of products of machine-building industries, in construction, installation of metal structures and pipelines for various purposes, housing and communal services and other industries.
ALFA-STAR offers DIN 125 washers in the M3 - M30 size range. The products have two versions: A2 and A4. A2 washers (stainless steel AISI 304) are characterized by high strength, corrosion resistance, resistance to high and low temperatures, hygienic cleanliness. They can be operated outdoors, at high humidity and acid-containing environments of low and medium concentration. The environmental friendliness of the material allows the products to be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. The A4 version (AISI 316 steel) is designed for use in more aggressive environments: solutions and gases containing alkalis, acids, chlorine. A4 products are widely used in shipbuilding, chemical industry, oil and gas processing, defense industry, pool equipment and other industries. Washers, like other types of stainless steel fasteners from our company, are of high quality, which ensures their reliability and long service life.
