The coupling check valves are connected to the pipeline sections by means of a thread. Like other varieties of this class of shut-off valves, they serve to protect equipment (pipelines, tanks, pumps, etc.) from changing the flow direction of the medium in the system, and also limit the flow movement in case of accidents. 

The design of the coupling check valve includes a housing with a thread on the outputs of which. A shut-off element is placed in the housing, which opens under the pressure of the working medium. When the pressure decreases, the gate automatically closes the passage section, while the medium from the outlet side presses on the locking element, preventing it from opening. The check valve is always installed in the direction of the working flow, which is indicated on its body.
